Off to Folkstone today. We went to the library to do some family research. We found quite a few things,mainly addresses, but need to go back for more.
On the way back to Broome Park we stopped at a pub called The Jackdaw and had a meal. It was very nice. I had pan fried duck and Roland had steak pie. The pastry was home made shortcrust and looked lovely. I think we'll be visiting there again. We then went to a local garage and bought a magnum for afters.
