Today we went into Preston to watch the community parade for Preston Guild Week.
Preston has a Guild week at the beginning of September once every 20 years since about 1590.

It was lovely to see all the floats going past with all the different organisations and schools there are in Preston. I think there were about 100 groups.
There have been other parades and lots of exhibitions going on all week but today was the first day we managed to get in to the city.
Of course there were lots of hands doing different things
