Day 245 September 1st Saturday:
We got up a little later this morning as Oliver came to see us at 7.45. He is getting quite brave as he gets used to staying with us.
We were going to bake together today but he was frightened of the noise of the mixer so next time I will beat the mixture by hand.  His mum and dad came to pick him up just as he was having dinner and they took some buns home with them when they went.
Not long after we got a visit from Jayne and Amber, I can't remember why, but it was lovely to see them.
They are leaving today and it is really hectic over there especially as Leo's sister turned up with the 3 children. I think they could have done without them today.
Anyway they came back later in the afternoon for a break and I made Jayne sit down and have a cup of tea. Amber got the low chair out and the tray so we decided she was telling us she was hungry. I made her a ham buttie and cut the crusts off but she ate them first. She is such a little love. I am really going to miss them being across the road and am feeling very sad at the moment.

Basket

This little basket is used to keep my little bits of cut out card so I just added the toys to make it look more interesting.
