The weather was lovely today, a bit of a chill in the wind but the sun was shining and it was an ideal day for a walk. We went down to the beach and walked across the stones, a bit hard going but we got quite a way along. The rock formations were amazing.
It made me think of my mum because she studied geology. She would have loved being there.
The rocks got slippy and sharper so we found an easy way up the cliff to the road. We walked along the road for a while then found a path on the other side of the road through the woods. When we got to the end of the path we found the Cliff Top Cafe where we had lunch. There was a bus stop outside so we caught it back to Kewstoke where we are staying.

Once again Shaun cooked dinner so we are being very well looked after.

ReplyDeleteI did geology at A level so can appreciate that pic.. Love cliffs and rocks and coastline. Col once told someone I had a degree in it.. Luckily I never had to deliver any in depth info! XX
