Day 247 Monday 3rd September:

Busy day today. First I went to Stamping Gallery for some demos. It should have been a christmas card day but the lady who was running the course has a virus so rather than cancelling the day Sue, who owns the shop, said she would do some demos. We had a great time playing with colours.
Unfortunately when they can repeat the Christmas card day is when we are away so I have lost out on that.
Stamping Gallery is in Tarleton so I could walk round to see Jayne, Amber and Baby Leo. Roland was there when I got there so we had a drink, gathered some apples and played with Amber. She loves having a garden to play in.
When we got home Roland picked the rest of the broad beans and some runner beans and pulled out the broad bean plants as they were finished. Most of the runner beans were frozen and all the apples peeled cut up and cooked, a very productive day.
We are now sat watching "New Tricks" that we really enjoy.
Aren't the paralympic atheletes wonderful? Team GB is doing really well?

Outside

Who needs to go shopping when you can get vegetables out of the garden?

  3. We didn't do veggies this year, lack of time, but normally we plant courgettes, peppers and tomatoes and they taste much better than in the shops ! Yours look gorgeous.
As of the white object, if you mean the small white rectangle at the top of the hill, it's a bench and I love sitting on it because the view from there is very beautiful.

    1. Thanks, Anne. I thought it might have been that but I wasn't sure. It's nice to know that you sit on it and look at the view.
