Day 269 Tuesday 25th September:

It seems to have been a long day today. We drove over from West coast to East today. The weather was quite good on the way, dry anyway. We got all the way to the M25 when we were held up for at least 3/4 hour, we think, because of an accident. It seemed much longer than that though.
We arrived here in Broome Park in Kent in pouring rain, fancy going all that way and it only raining here.
We are staying in the house this time - we usually stay in a self catering chalet in the grounds. The accomodation is a studio and doesn't have a kitchen so before we got here we were a little worried about what we would find.
We booked in at reception and went up to the room and WOW what a room. It is huge with a four poster bed, a full sized suite and plenty of cupboards and drawers.
You open one cupboard and inside is a mini kitchen with crockery, cutlery, kettle, microwave, toaster and fridge.
There is a bay with 3 huge windows and 2 more windows either side. I think we are going to enjoy it here.
Vivid

There were so many vivid things on the way over here
Workmen on the road
 Their machinery
Their vehicles etc
We couldn't stop to take photos so I did my best as we were driving.

This was in the service station

On the road

The best of all
