Day 259 Saturday 15th September:

I see we are back to our tree again. I was thinking of going to take some pictures of the park so this prompt fits in well.

Saturday is football of course so we've had that on today

This morning we had some visitors. We didn't know them but Craig the kitchen fitter asked us if someone who was thinking of having a kitchen done by him could come and look at ours. They came with sample doors to compare and spent quite a bit of time looking and talking to us. We had tidied up the night before so all the work tops were clear and it looked like a show house when they arrived.

Not much change in the leaf colours yet.

They have a tint of yellow in places



 

 

A Speckled Wood butterfly

I've never seen one of these before so I think they must be new to our park





 

 

 Baby Acorns

 

 

We found a sweet chestnut tree

 so we'll be looking, later on, for chestnuts for Christmas stuffing
