Day 268 Monday 24th September:

We woke up to really strong winds this morning and weren't sure about going out at all. The wind slackened a little in the afternoon so we decided to go into Weston. On the way there I suggested we visited the Clarks Village in Street as it wasn't too far away. We did a bit of shopping and had a coffee and I persuaded Roland to ring his cousin who lives there. I'd been talking to him about ringing Tony since we arrived but for some reason he didn't. Tony and Janet were delighted to see us as we were them.
They said they had been talking about us only this morning as they had another relative visit this morning.
Tony and Roland met through them both doing their family trees on Ancestry, as they are distant cousins neither knew of the other. Their Great Grandfathers were brothers and moved from Aberdeen to England. Rolands GGrandfather moved to Lancaster and Tonys moved to Birmingham.
We spent a lovely hour with them catching up but had to get back as Shaun was cooking tea.
The poor man has a terrible cold and I am sure he could have done without cooking for us but he had prepared the meal already.

Roland took this photo this morning
Can you see the waves breaking over the rock
where we were walking yesterday.

Favourite Colours.

Yellow with brown are my favourite colours at the moment.
