Day 330 Sunday 25th November:

Well today there is exactly a month to Christmas day and 36 days to the end of our challenge. I've really enjoyed every minute of it.

Oliver slept really well last night and didn't get up until about 9am.  He had to have his wellie socks on when he got dressed. His mum and dad came for him about 11am, stayed a while and then went off shopping. Oliver insisted on wearing his wellies and off they went, Oliver having a splash in a puddle on his way to the car.

Last night before Roly and Lou went they asked if we had a game of Monopoly to take with them. I found the box with it in and discovered other games I had forgotten about. This led me to remember that we had other games in the loft so I went up and wrote a list of them so the children can have the ones they wanted. We used to love playing games when they were at home.

I got my ironing done this afternoon and decided to sort Christmas cards after that. I am demonstrating the cuttlebug at our craft meeting on Wednesday and wanted to cut some pictures out to embelish the cards we make. I think I'm going to have to stamp some images as well as I don't have too many old cards that are suitable.

I'm looking forward to watching The Secret of Crinkley Hall tonight so I want to tidy up before then. Talking about tidying up, I haven't done any more to the craft room but it will wait until tomorrow.

  2. Such a sweet photo of Oliver. We also have plenty of Monopoly editions in this house. One year I even offered the kids a "Make you own" Monopoly, all customized with photos of us all on the money, funny street names only know to us and special luck cards. They loved it.
