Day 235  Tuesday 20th November:

Hair day has come round again. Afterwards Roland and I went to Asda to have some photos taken in the photo booth for our new NOW card ( free bus pass for over 60's) as ours expires next March and we got a letter asking us to renew as soon as possible. The letter said we could renew on line but when we tried the website said we had to send a new photo and post the application. Another case of the left hand doen't know what the right hand is doing.

Of course while we were at Asda we had to do some shopping. Roland says he dislikes going with me as we always spend more than when he goes alone. What he doesn't realise I spend just as much, if not more, over the week by "popping" into Morrisons for the things he hasn't bought in Asda.

I baked another apple crumble today using the last of the crumble mix I made up last week. I used some coconut flour in this mixture but I put too much in as it made the crumble feel quite dry in the mouth. I'll have another go as I want to use the coconut flour up but put less in the mixture.

I remember travelling round Kent looking for bridges in September but I found a picture we took when we went for a walk round here. Definitly not as pretty as the ones we took in Kent and not as pretty of lots of others here in Lancashire.
