Steven had a successful operation yesterday. It wasn't as extensive as they thought it would be and he can talk. Not being able to speak was one of the things they expected would happen. Now it is a case of getting over the op and going through the chemotherapy.
I didn't wake up until almost midday today, had breakfast/lunch then we went out to Chorley look for curtains. We didn't find any and I have decided the best way to get what I want is to make them.
I have a friend who makes them and she would let me use her table to lay mine out and measure them and I probably could use her industrial machine as well. So that is the plan.
