Day 305 Wednesday 31st October.

I went to a funeral this morning. It was an ex head teacher of mine, in fact I did my probationary year with her. She actually didn't like me as I was a none catholic teaching in a catholic school. I was only part time and she had been told if she didn't accept me she wouldn't get anyone else. Not a good start, but it was local to where I lived and I told the education authority I could manage. She had the reputation of being a bad employer even then. I stayed there for 16 years and the rest of the staff were brilliant. I hoped to see some of the other members of staff there but I didn't feel too good so I left early.
I rang one of my friends tonight and she said there were some of the staff there and some of the parents of expupils so I missed a good reunion.

Fear

An ideal word for today being Halloween.

Roland took these pictures from the local Tv news.
It is at Liverpool Institute for research of tropical medicine.
The snake is a puff adder. It is one of the deadliest snakes in Africa
and takes the lives of many poor people there.
The Institute is working towards finding an anti - venom for this snake.

I am frightened of snakes so I thought these photos appropriate
for me.

  2. Sorry about the funeral. I am not scared of snakes as long as they don't bite.
An anxiety wrap is like a too tight T-Shirt, so you feel supported and when you move it kind of massages you (I mean the dog, lol).
