Day 301, 302 and303. Saturday, Sunday and Monday:

It's been a hectic three days and now I am going to take it easy and have a bit of me time, catch up with all you friends and chill.
Saturday I went with my friend Helen to the first Allergy and Free From show in this area. It's always been in London and I've never been able to get to it. This year they decided to have an exhibition in Liverpool as well. The local Blackpool Coeliac Support group had organised a coach to take us there, so I couldn't miss the opportunity. We caught the bus in Preston at 10am and got back at about 6pm.
It was a great day, we saw lots of new suppliers and every stand had samples to try so I didn't need the lunch I took. We even had chance to go into Liverpool one and had a good look round Lakeland and a coffee and chocolate cake in Thorntons.
The exhibition centre was on the shores of the Mersey next to Albert Docks, the Tate Gallery there and shops. Didn't get to look round that but I can see a trip with Roland coming on soon.
Roland was looking after Oliver while I was out and they both came to pick me up. Little Oliver said he'd missed me. He was staying over night so I got him ready for bed and Roland took him up. We also had a visit from Kevin, which was lovely as we haven't seen him since Jayne moved.

Sunday Oliver slept well and of course was full of beans. I stayed in bed a bit longer then got up and had a play for the rest of the morning. Roly and Lou came for him about 12 and stayed a while. Lou got a lovely photo of the 3 of them sat on the settee watching Formula 1 on the TV.
Roland was really tired after they had gone.

Monday Today was an Office day. I was getting together with the Support Workers to look back over the month and to discuss what we were going to do next month.
Colin, the group chairman, was there as well as he wanted to go over the finances. We decided we deserved a meal out and went to try a new Marstons Pub nearby. The menu was impressive and the food good.
I've brought home lots of things that I need to do, so paper work for the next couple of day I think.

 Statue

This Statue is in the grounds of St Mary's and St Benedicts Catholic church here in Bamber Bridge.
It was once a tree that became unsafe.

  3. Yes - busy weekend.
Like your photos. The statue is gorgeous - I would not see that tree without your help. The flowers at the feet of St Mary are very beautiful.
