We went to shop with Marion for curtains in the morning on Thursday and came away with nothing so a bit of a wasted morning.
In the evening I went to another meeting about how South Ribble can help charitable organisations. We looked at all the issues that needed help in the area and the council went away with the ideas and will choose the top 5 areas they will donate to this year.
I met a man I hadn't seen for about 20 years from when we used to help out in Cuerden Valley Park and also had a small allotment in the walled garden. It was lovely to catch up with him and we have exchanged email addresses so we can keep in touch.
Today was the coffee morning for the group. It wasn't well attended today but that is how things happen with ME. I'm out all day tomorrow so I have rested most of today ready for tomorrow.
I might not be able to post again until Sunday but I am going to get back into the daily routine after that.
Heartwarming
Roland has been drinking a hot toddy at night this week
to help his cold!!!!
Orange
The children bought this for their dad one christmas full of jelly babies.
He now uses it to collect £2 coins for holidays.
He also has a Bertie Basset
that he fills with silver.

I love the idea of the big orange guy as a piggy bank. It's so much fun to save coins, even as an adult ! Hope you have a great day tomorrow ! xx
