The journey home was almost uneventful except for an accident just past Kings Lynne. The traffic was backed up for such a long way that we decided to take a detour around it. The sat nav tried to keep taking us back to the the road we had left so we were left to my map reading. We had one or two wrong turns and saw some lovely countyside and eventually got back on the route well past where the accident had been as the road was almost empty. I do hope no one was badly hurt.
When we got back home, unpacked and got the washing in the machine Oliver came to stay the night so I was too tired to blog.
His mum and dad came about 1 0'clock and we went to a Fun Day at "The Pear Tree" a local pub in aid of Miles for Smiles.
We had a great time, met Leo, Jayne and family went on some rides then we went and had a meal in the pub. Oliver met Iggle Piggle, Pepper Pig and Ben 10. Amber decided she'd rather not meet them.
Day 189: Past its Prime
A stool from Mum and dads house. I remember them buying this
when I was about 11 years old
Day 190: Broken.
A side from one of the cupboards in our workroom.
This is how it arrived and we had to send for a replacement.
The Fun Day
I think you could say I was Broken here. I went on with Jayne
as she wanted to go on but not on her own.
I am now stiff all over and feel battered and bruised don't think I'll try it again.
I think this could also be a photo for Past its Prime

well done you for going on the ride, you are braver then i am. Hope you got a replacement cupboard too.
ReplyDeleteBless you hope you are OK today xxx
ReplyDeleteI prefer map reading to a sat nav for that reason!! Also looking at a map you can see other places you might miss just using a Sat Nav
You are such a brave lady ! I love the rides but I feel so seasick that i need to avoid ! xx
