Today was the day for our craft meeting at the Rococco Cafe. We hire a room at the back of the cafe once a month and meet there. The cafe is run by the Brothers of Charity who look after the Mentally Challenged. They work in the cafe under supervision. It is a lovely place, a great idea and the food is lovely. They go through a programme with the staff and are assessed each week.
Last month there were 4 of us at the craft group, this month there were 9. It was a really good afternoon especially as I had some lovely jacket halves and some gluten free cake before we started. There were 3 new people ( all from one family), they had just come for a natter but one of our members found some cards for them to make up. They said they really enjoyed themselves and would come back if mum, who is the ME sufferer, was up to it.
I was really tired when I got home and have slept until now.
