Day 187 Thursday 5th July: We'll I was so tired yesterday I didn't post.

We went to Norwich and found areas we hadn't seen before and went to the cathedral we hadn't yet visited. The cathedral was lovely, the columns were so wide that the cathedral itself looked narrow. The windows were beautiful. Before we left we went to have a drink in the cafe there which was a modern building and well worth seeing. In the cathedral, the cloisters and other churches in the city had all suffered from vandalism, probably in Oliver Cromwells time and many of the statues had either disappeared or been destroyed. It has made me decide I must look into history again.

When we got back here we had a meal and then walked into Cromer as a lovely sunset was promised and Roland wanted to take some photos of it.
It really was lovely and well worth the walk but my legs were really sore when I got back because of all the walking, So a quick spray and rub in of my Magnesium spray and to bed.

Empty

An empty drinking fountain

An empty space for a statue over a church door
although the statues of a king and queen have not been destroyed
Perhaps that means it happened in Henry VIII' time.

An empty police car on the prom.
( the policewoman was talking to a vagrant)

Two of the Photos Roland took of the sunset over Cromer
