Little Oliver got the cars out and because it was formula one on the TV he found the racing cars. He, grandad and Rolie watched the TV together. He really enjoyed watching the cars racing round.
When they had gone I went to get some shopping and when I got back we had got visitors, Jayne and Amber. Amber was really well but Jayne says she is sleeping a lot which isn't like Amber at all.
I've made some Millionaires Shortbread from a recipe on the back of a condensed milk tin. I used GF biscuits and dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate and it is the fridge waiting to cool off so we can have a taste.
The prompt today was not difficult for me as I have lots of unfinished things to finish. In fact I've been thinking of making a list so I can tick them off as I finish them. In January I decided this was the year that I finished some of my unfinished symphonies, as I call them, and I still haven't written the list.
I decided I would photograph a sock I am knitting. I was supposed to finish this pair for a christmas present last year. The pattern is for 2 needles but I didn't like the seam in the other pair I knitted, so my friend Brenda altered the pattern for me.
I also took a photo of my little herb seeds. I can't believe how quickly they have come through because of the heat. I am constantly having to spray them with water so they don't dry out. I suppose you could say they are unfinished as they haven't finished growing.
Unfinished socks

Yes!!! This corresponds exactly to the theme / the word /!
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Right on target! I wish you success!
the sock looks great good luck on getting it finished. Thats one thing i dont like about knitting socks, you are pleased to get one finished but then you have to start on the other to get a pair, lol
ReplyDeleteHope you get some of your 'UFO's completed this year- I must do my own list to make sure we complete at least one or two!

ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea spraying seedlings LOL!! I had never thought about that, I usually use the spray on the watering can which can be rather fierce for seedlings!!
