Day 138 Thursday 17th May: It's been busy today. I went to have my hair set first, then we went to buy some eggs. We then went to Leyland market to buy some largish press studs for the cardigan
for Sian. My friend Brenda knitted the cardigan and I knitted the hat and flowers while we were away. I'll give it to Sian when I next see her. Later in the afternoon we had the builder, Dave, come back who plastered our kitchen ceiling. He is going to give us an estimate for knocking a wall out and building us an alcove in the kitchen for the fridge and freezer. He and Roland decided that some central heating pipes need moving in the garage so we then had a visit from Chris, the central heating fitter, who is coming to move the pipes on Monday. It won't be long now for the kitchen to be ready for the new floor.
