Day 140 May 19th. We had a phone call this morning from Roly to ask if he, Lou and Oliver could come over. they came before dinner. We talked about holiday and they asked if they could come with us next year. We were delighted so Roland and Lou sorted out a holiday next May and Roly and I played with Oliver and Roly watched football. What a shame Blackpool lost. We have booked a villa each but we can't book flights or cars until July. We were all stunned really as none of us expected to be booking such a holiday today, it just happened. It was after 5pm by the time they left so it was time to get dinner on. I cooked the bolognaise today, and Roland cooked the spaghetti and dished up. I also planted some herb seeds, Basil, Dill, Coriander, Fennel, Chives and Tarragon. They have gone in a bit late but with the weather being cold I won't make too much difference. They just need a bit of warmth now. Roland had to go on top of the conservatory roof as it rained in last night and he found the flashings were loose all the way along the house, so that's sorted now.
