Amber had to be in hospital for 7.30 this morning so I had thoughts of her at the back of my mind all the time I was out.
I went to a coffee morning ( another) at the WVS coffee shop in the Minerva centre, our NHS long term illness department which is under one of the stands at Preston North End. Met a couple of people there who I hadn't seen for a while so it was lovely to see them. Then just as I had left another committee member who couldn't get, rang because she wanted to chat to myself and Helen, our support worker, so we arranged to meet her at Starbucks on our way home (Helen was giving me a lift home) so this time I had a GF salad and a frappachino - don't know if that's how you spell it, and I was hyper afterwards as I can't take caffeine.
While I was out Roland and Pete, our neighbour, put up some boarding in the kitchen to stop all the brick dust coming to the kitchen and Roland had a go at the wall but had to stop when I got home.
Little Amber came home at lunch time, all done and dusted, after she had a biscuit and a drink . She was fine but tired and a real mummies girl needing lots of cuddles.
