Yes it's Saturday with the inevitable football. The weather is not good either.
We've had thunder and lightning and the park is well and truly flooded.
Purple
Not a colour I'm keen on unless it is a flower
On of our neighbours hanging baskets looking the worst for the rain but it does have purple lobelia in it.
This was taken yesterday, not really purple but a shade of it in the Budlea.
Our butterflies love it. This peacock is one of the first coloured butterflies we have seen and very late in the season.
Ahhh bad weather.. an excuse for crafting while the football is on?

ReplyDeleteWe had thunder and lots of rain here this afternoon. For years I've hated our budlea with vengeance but put up with it because Peter loved it. Somehow this year it doesn't seem so bad, not sure that I like it yet but definitely don't hate it.
