Still feel a bit off today but we went to visit the agent of Shaun and Fionas house to pick up their keys for Leo and Jayne. While we were in the area we visited mums' house then drove down to have another look at Shaun and Fionas. while we were there I picked some plums from the Victoria Plum tree and picked up the windfall apples from the bramley and the eating apple trees. I will make either a pie or a crumble with the apples for Jayne and Leo as it is really their fruit now. I know they will share it with Roland so that is OK.
Today is the first day of the football season. Roland is waiting for the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle to come on TV. I always think it is a sign of Autumn coming on when football starts but it's too early for Autumn yet.

ReplyDeleteagree with you over football and autumn...Daniel said he wanted soup on his return from football- it was 24 degrees- i said no, lol. Love the picture, very clever. Hope you get all the baking done with the apples and plums.
ReplyDeleteOur apple tree is bare this year. Peter thinks it's because we had a frost at the wrong time of year.
